About Maple Street Dance Space

Maple Street Dance Space is EXPANDING! Beginning July 1st, 2013 Maple Street Dance Space will be taking over the entire building at 3215 Central Ave NE! We are so sorry to see our beloved Peacecraft move on, but are very excited by the opportunity to offer a whole second studios worth of community dance classes!

We are located on the North side of Central, right next to Urban Outfitters, and across from Kellys. For those of you not familiar with Nob Hill, it is a few blocks WEST of Carlisle, and a few blocks EAST of UNM, on the NW corner of Wellesly & Central.

Parking is FREE along the side streets, in the small lot behind our building, and in the underground parking area beneath the new condos on Central and Wellesley.

Maple Street Dance Space is a unique studio where INDEPENDENT instructors of all kinds rent space to share their various dance and movement forms or practices. As a result, the studio is filled with a dynamic and eclectic variety of classes and workshops that strengthen, nurture, and inspire the body, mind, heart and spirit!

Our studios are ideal for classes, rehearsals, private lessons, and workshops, and are also available Saturday evenings as a casual and intimate, smoke-free venue for small performances & special events.

We have 1250 square feet of dance floor, built over a basement, so it is a naturally sprung, not built on concrete, wooden floor, along with two walls of mirrors, an attached barre, and a free standing barre. We have an excellent sound system for CDs, MP3s, or computers with a powered speaker, and there is a dressing room and a bathroom.

ON-GOING RENTAL RATES:
$25/hr for PRIME-TIME slots: Mon-Fri from 5pm-8pm, & Sat-Sun from 10am-4pm
$23/hr for all other times.

Refundable Key Deposit: $40(cash)

Key Deposit & First Months Rent due at signing of agreement, and confirms the rental.
(If for any reason the rental is cancelled before it is scheduled to begin, half the months rent is reimbursed, while the other half is retained for having held the spot. Full Key Deposit reimbursed with return of the key.)

INCIDENTAL RENTAL RATE: $30/hr
For events that charge a fee and are not on-going throughout the year, but scheduled incidentally, as for example a workshop or a workshop series.

Refundable Key Deposit of $50(cash)

Key Deposit (if necessary) & Full Rent to hold & confirm the rental.
(1/2 rent reimbursed for cancelled Incidental Rentals, when cancelled up to 24 hours before event. Events cancelled within 24 hours will not be reimbursed. Full Key Deposit reimbursed with return of the key. Not all Incidental Rental will require a key or key deposit.)

POP-IN RATE: $15/hr
For one-time or short term, non-income generating needs, such as rehearsals. Same terms as INCIDENTAL RENTALS.
