About Maple Street Dance Space

Maple Street Dance Space has MOVED!!!

Beginning July 1st, all Maple Street Dance Space classes are now held in our new bigger, brighter space, at 3215 Central NE, right in the heart of Nob Hill! We will be dancing, shimmying, drumming, singing, and celebrating, in the big, bright, open, high ceilinged, back room of Peacecraft!

Our building is located on the North side of Central, right next to Urban Outfitters, and across from Kellys. For those of you not familiar with Nob Hill, it is a few blocks WEST of Carlisle, and a few blocks EAST of UNM.

There are two entrances to Maple Street Dance Space. Enter from either the street, which allows a very pleasant walk through Peacecraft, with its vibrant and colorful displays, or enter from the alley, which has a clean dock area that has planters filled with flowers and soon, a bench or two to sit on. Parking is FREE along the side streets, and in the underground parking area beneath the new condos on Central and Wellesley.

Maple Street Dance Space is a unique studio where INDEPENDENT instructors of all kinds rent space to share their various dance and movement forms or practices. As a result, the studio is filled with a dynamic and eclectic variety of classes and workshops that strengthen, nurture, and inspire the body, mind, heart and spirit! The space is ideal for classes, rehearsals, private lessons, and workshops. It is also available Saturday evenings as a casual and intimate, smoke-free venue for small performances & special events.

Rental Rates: $20/hr for on-going & special event rentals. Additional $10/month cleaning support fee for on-going rentals. One time $10 fee for special events. Discounts are available for students, or events happening week days, Monday through Friday, between 11am & 4pm.

Cards can be purchased from any instructor at Maple Street, and are usable until the expiration date marked on the card.
